When the sky fallsWhen the sky falls and the earth is quaking What happens? Where do we go? Do we watch and wait for it to pass – wait for some immortal being who will never turn to up to save us all? Were will we be, both you and I? As the fires of chaos cascade down from on highWhen the sky falls
Do we stand lost and alone on the edge of the world? Do we give in to our self inflicted destruction? Do we pull together? Do we stand and fight Do we battle on through the darkness of night?
When the floods come and the fires spread When stars fall and beauty is dead When the world conspires to rip us ap

Return to OzFrosty silver ponds, snow clad trees,Return to Oz
A smothering of white, blotting out natures song Last night I dreamt of you, last night I cried I saw you standing there in front of me dressed all in white
A thousand spindles of ice glint in the half eaten sun A dark veil has been drawn across the sky Last night I dreamt you took me away, to a land of dreams, a land of love and everlasting peace
Last night I dreamt I returned to Oz But the wizards dead and the sky was on fire Last night you left me, stranded in Oz Lost in a million raindrops of red

Arms of an AngelLying here,Arms of an Angel
I look up at a sky shadowed black with oblivion A million lights smiling down on me As I lie in deep surrender
Misery changes to content in my soul Sadness to serenity Like the winter ice in the springtime sun They melt As I lie in a sea of tranquillity
I see a thousand faces shining down upon me My heart no longer weighing me down I am no longer harassed by the vultures or thieves that hung upon my tail I am no longer troubled As I lie wrapped in the embrace of freedom
The weight of reality has been lifted as I leave it all

No chasm yawns, no black hole of despair, no melodramatic apparition of depression Just an emptiness, a hollow space Like the gap on the shelf when a book is missing The last space in a multi-storey car park
Stand over my coffin, say your goodb

The same sky that holds our dreams The same rain that washes our tears Just remember, I'm still here Waiting for you
Worlds apart but together in heart.

Very good writing. A bit too over dramatic for me but still very artful.
